3D Animation

Took a course on Saturday about 3D Animation. We made coke bottles, I had to make mine 3 times to get it perfect but I only saved the second attempt because I forgot to save the third one!

So here it is. I'm really feeling 3D animation and may take it next year. Slightly undecided but I have a year to decide so no worries for now I suppose.

I move tomorrow. I've been packing for the past week off and on. I really don't like packing so I always get distracted haha!

Once I move to the new apartment I'll have more room to set up my crafting supplies and my sewing table, so there should be more posts if I can remember to post hehe.

What I've been up to...

There's many more but I've given them away to friends/family as gifts. There's also two cross stitches and some quilt designing that I've been doing.
I took a little break from making quilts to work on some other crafts and hobbies that I love.
Some of these may go up on my Etsy but I haven't worked out shipping methods and pricing yet, but when I do I'll be posting the information on the bloggity :)

A new year already?

Wow a new year so soon.
I made some progress on the Fighter quilt and I started to make a quilt for Simone. Do you think he will stop laying on quilts in progress?

Doubt it!

Other than the two quilts I'm working on, I'm also starting to crochet some dishcloths. I want to open my own shop on Etsy at some point, but I still need some products to post! I may also work on some video game related items so keep a watch on the blog for any updates.

Finally!

The Mario quilt is finally done after a serious case of slacking!

I’m very pleased with how it turned out and so is my friend :)

I just need to wash it and give him the quilt.

My aunt offered me a spot at her craft table if I wanted to sell some baby quilts. I think I’m going to do that, I just need to make sure not to slack LOL. But it doesn’t really matter for those ones because there’s no deadline. I was thinking of doing pinwheels, they seem simple enough. I hope.

Another Mario update

Hey there, just another quick update.

I’ve got the front of the binding attached after fussing with it and getting frustrated (I so know what I want for Christmas this year—a walking foot) and I just need to attach it to the back by hand.

I’m thinking of just doing that part tomorrow. It’s raining today and I just feel like staying in bed surfing the net. Might work on it later when the boyfriend comes home.

I've got most of the blanket quilted, there's just a little bit left to do and then I have to add the border!

Got the top done! Woohoo! I was kinda just playing around today and spaced the day out instead of sitting down and sewing for a straight 5 hours or more. I don't have the backing fabric yet but I'm thinking of just using the same sky blue that's on the front..

I think it would look pretty good. I really want to make one for myself now haha.

Sorry for the poor lighting and angle. I took the photo around 6:45pm and the sunlight's not shining through the living room window anymore. I had to stand on the couch to take photo with my iphone.

I'm pretty happy with how the quilt turned out. There are a few spots where the blocks don't line up exactly, but I'm not perfect (and no one is!) and I'm still happy with it.

I so want to make one for myself now LOL! But I'm thinking of maybe doing a True Blood themed quilt after I finish the fighter quilt.

Mario Quilt

So this is the progress of the Mario quilt so far:
I'm pretty excited. I think I will get it done by July 24th but still no guarantees.
You can tell where I haven't ironed yet haha. But I'm getting an ironing board this weekend! I have to get a cover for it though, I don't really have time to make one yet.

I recently painted my Dollfie Dream head again...
I like it better than the old faceup but I'm still not happy with the eyes :/
I like the blushing a lot better this time around though.

She's a DDH03 on a DDDY body :)
Yes she has a wig but it's not very good quality so I need to order a new one soon.

Well, not really.

But I AM starting a raccoon Mario for a friend's son's birthday gift. Gotta be done by July 24th so I better get to it lol

Shouldn't be too hard it's all squares and I'm gonna sew like a mad woman.

Well I never got very far in the 8bit quilt seeing as my mother's sewing machine died, but I bought my own recently and I've made quite a bit of progress.

I'm going to try and keep the blog updated for my own personal sake.

Anyway, I've been growing a balcony garden as well, but I think I planted too much in the container...
Oh well everything seems to be doing well and they're all healthy.

If you're wondering how I water them, well, it's a "self-watering" container. I followed a quick guide here and made my own. There's a pipe hiding behind the tomato plants that goes into a reservoir.

I've been working on that final fantasy quilt. I've got 7 rows done, it's just going to be an 8-bit fighter. I know, really simple but I tend to like simple :)

Crochet

I've decided to start crocheting! My first project is going to be a scarf :3 Because it's cold outside and the scarf I bought last year has unraveled (R.I.P McFluffy). Si I'm going to make my own. Yay!
But I only have two crochet hooks and they're really small, so I need to buy bigger ones.. I've got small yarn too, but it's not so good for a beginner. So I need to buy more yarn too.. Maybe once I get better, I'll use the smaller yarn to make scarves for my lovely dolls <3
I want to take up knitting too. I haven't knitted for about 10 years. So long ago.. I feel so old and I'm only 17 -_-;; 18 next month!

I've started digital painting again.This is what I have done.. It was kind of inspired by Lucky * Star and Haruhi XD;;
I probably watch too much anime for my own good... oh well!
